I woke up late this morning to make the 10:30 service. Oh well, I'll just make the 5PM.
I got up and chatted online a little. I also waited to see the race in NY, but that got rained out. I wanted to go eat at Cheddars or even Chili's, but I settled for a tuna sandwich at Subway. It was good!
I came back to my apartment and chatted a little bit. I noticed the clock getting closer and closer to 5. So I excused myself and went to get ready. Brown kaki pants and light off-white sweatshirt. The white looks good on me due to my complexion from what people tell me. The beard (i'm trying for the first time ever for the past few weeks to grow one and surprise my mom when I see her next weekend) makes me look even darker.
I got to church and few people were there. I took a seat in pew 12 (I counted the number after mass for purposes of this story). I was there a good 20 minutes before Mass started. While I was there praying and repenting of my gawd-awful sins, her and her family took the pew in front of me. I've noticed her before, and she's noticed me.
Three weeks or so ago at the earlier service, as I genuflected outside my pew to leave, as I turned and made my way out I noticed her looking at me out of the corner of my eye. She too was leaving her pew, a few behind me. I didn't make eye contact back but I know those large brown eyes. Anyway...
I saw her and we made eye contact as she and her family pulled into the pew in front of me. Although she was in front of me, she was at the far left end of the pew section, whereas I was on the far right. As I sat back on my pew from kneeling, I noticed two people on my right side who wanted in. It was my buddy and his kid; I said, "hey" and moved to my left so they could sit down. After moving over and them sitting down, they both shook my hand. As I turned back to my left, I noticed that she was looking at me again and then she looked away. It was ever so clear yet hardly subtle; afterall, I was now within five feet of her.
Mass started, and we proceeded to worship. You know us catholics: sit, stand, sit, stand, kneel, shake hands, sit and kneel, sit, stand, kneel, kneel, kneel, stand, sit, kneel, lay down and then stand up again....... I love Analyze This (Billy Crystal and Robert Dinero). The Mass went as normal with my fighting off weird thoughts...however I was reminded come collection time that I don't know where my checkbook is at! Damn! Its here at my desk somewhere; I don't know where.
As communion lines formed, I sat out. I haven't been, but am in desperate need of Confession. She went to communion, and as I noticed her coming around the corner up front to come back, I turned my head in the other direction to see how long the line was. I then put my head in my hands and as I looked up, she was coming into her pew. I looked up and sure enough she made eye contact with me and smiled.
I've noticed her before. She's a beautiful brunette w/ brown eyes, fair skin. She seems to be a wonderful mother by the way she tends to her children. She might be 5'4 or 5'5 at best. She smiles from time to time and I even noticed she puts her arm around her husband. The world could pass by her and think she's pretty, but I think she's magnificent!
If I ever get married, I want a wife like her.

Ruidoso...here I come
"uh...." she replied.
I was a bit taken back at the statement. I thought she was grossed out or tried to laugh at me.
"uh.... I was wondering if you were around I could buy you dinner." I said.
"Oh yeah, that sounds good...just call me the day before you come up."
"How far is Ruidoso from you?"
"Oh, (she turns to her friend to ask)...about an hour or so"
"Good, I'll ring you then....later" I hung up.
Serenity was a stripper I met a while back. She hasn't been down it in a while b/c she's focusing on her degree. She has a nice, tight body. I am heading to New Mexico in two weeks, and I'm tempted to see her. She'll be there alright.
My friend who once met her wanted to "two time her". I know what he meant but it's not pretty....I guess.
This time around, I'll be going alone. No one to keep me company on the way up...its just good ol' me. I'll come and go as I please... The change of weather will be nice not to mention the mountains, nature, clean air, etc.
By the way, I'm not telling anyone ; )

I Couldn't Sleep
But there is a good reason for it... I slept from 8-12 this past evening.
Yep, I had a rough ending at work where I was totally lost for a few minutes. I had so much shit to get out toward the end, and it frustrated the hell out of me. But I was able to pull myself together and get everything out. Ada boy!
Instead of working out, I came home instead. I had planned on working out, but I left my access card here at my place and didn't feel like driving all the way back just to do shoulder presses. So I stayed here and drank my two glasses of engineered milk, gotta love those Mootopia guys.
I got my House in, but then I was out like a light. Sleeping on the hard floor makes my back feel better. It never did that before, but I'll take it.
So after getting up about and hour ago, I tried to get some zeez in my bed. It didn't take! So now I'm here on my computer doing what I really enjoy doing-writing.
Maybe I'll go to confession this morning?

Its Been a While
Well I did start swimming but then I had to go to Kansas City again. I spent my birthday up there alone! However, I spent it at the casino.....Ameristar, I think its called. Compared to Ruidoso, I really enjoyed it. Lots more people especially Midwest ladies, anyway, I had dinner alone at some seafood joint in the casino.
I've got lots to say..... I'm sure I'll leave something out. I need to start doing this more often at least once a week to keep up.
I started lifting weights again and weigh about ten pounds less than I did since KC. Not only that I worked in Amarillo for a while...but now I'm back home. I kept my weight despite all the eating out.
Uhm, I got a new firearm. Ruger Super Redhawk, .44 magnum. I love the kick and look forward to taking out a few hogs, mountain lions and bears with it. I even bought a loading press to make my own ammo. 35 clams for 50 rounds is high especially since the O Man took office. I didn't vote for him but we'll see what happens. I hear the bishop won't be attending ceremonies at Notre Dame b/c Obama will not only speak but get an honorary degree. The devil is everywhere...
Tuna on Honey Oat bread, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and chipotle sauce, jalapeno chips and a root beer...gotta love Subway. I can't get away from this kinda of sandwich. Its my new thing.
Haven't flown in a long while... I need to get back into it.
My buddy moved to San Antonio...take care of yourself Eric!
I've considered Vegas with my bro and pops this summer. A second option is to go to the Daytona Beach and watch the Pepsi 400...rent a plane the next day and head to Freeport to spend a few days there. Or save up a lil more and go to Rome. Fuck it...I'm single....lets do all three!
Where will I go this fall for training?
Jessie, hang in there buddy, time cures all ailments. Sorry for your injustices that have plagued you.
Laura, I'm sorry for your seperation... You didn't deserve to have to experience that.
A newcomer to work, how interesting.
I was asked to do a 2nd hour of adoration on Saturday morning. Funny how it came on the dawn of my popo's death. I'm not so sure things are random. Even though I struggle with the thought.
Saturday I get to hear Jeff Cavin's conversion story and hear about the book of Revelations.
Stocking up on the faith... Gotta be ready when others bring the fire.
Helping a friend with his econ courses. He's getting his MBA. Man, it feels good to do that stuff again.
I need some sleep. My nerve and mind were put to the test today. Funny how the trial comes at you when you're tired or least expect it.
One day at a time...

What A Screw Up
My wonderful day started with taking my co-worker's lunch hour. Long story short, we switched hours yesterday. I took hers and she took mine. It was for training, etc. Well today, I forgot to resort back to my regular 1 o' clock hour. Poor gal had to wait until two hours later b/c I took her time slot. She wasn't mad at me; we just laughed about it afterwards. I felt guilty so I gave her a twenty and told her "to have one on me." She didn't fight me on giving back my money by the way.
A little later I come to find out that our office alarm system hasn't been 'arming' for the past two months. Long story short: I forgot to reset the alarm trigger which was a breaker that wouldn't allow the system to arm. It took a secretary and a cop to tell me that running two days worth of tests. I had a piece of cake celebrating the anniversaries of a few in the back, yet that slice of humble pie couldn't be avoided. I didn't get my ass chewed or anything, just a rubberband flung at me.
A little later our safe was fixed. Long story short: the asses at the padlock company had sent me a newer version of the lock but didn't tell me. Half a year later in the making, I finally get it done. I felt dumb even though it wasn't my fault. I busted my ass trying to work a Honda with the instruction booklet to a BMW. Exception being that all models looked the same!
A little later I gave the wrong info to the wrong person. It took me only a few seconds to realize it and get it back, but nevertheless it takes a while to get the right info to the right person. Nuff said! It was toward the end of the day........no harm, no foul.
As I leave work I gave misinformation to a friend. Long story short: I called St Steve's and asked for Mass times. I could barely make out what the lady said. I did hear 5:30 and 7PM. That sounded right, and I called my buddy to heckle him about him telling me it started @ 5. I was hauling but to church after work until I called the phone service. Sure enough I called him back and told him about the 5:30 and 7PM schedule. Well I arrive to St Steve's early and my buddy shows up. No one was there but a few peeps. I asked father as he walked in; sure enough, I was wrong. The Mass is tomorrow for the Assumption, not today.
Its 8:05 right now....what else can go wrong?
What an idiot!

Could It Be This Simple?
Agent 47 - Hitman, never knew his name until after I started playing the game! In fact, it never worked on my old computer (that I used in college) until I got my new laptop during Christmas. I started playing version 2 first. Version 1 plays slow; version 3 doesnt play on my laptop. One and three are too 'heavy'. Version 2 is the only one that's small enough to play on my laptop. I might have to get a new desktop to play V3. Nah, I'm happy with version 2.
My extension @ work - 247 It was assigned to me after the renov.....
I see the clock now at the writing (typing) of this post - 10:47
I check out the clock to close down - 4:27 - we close @ 4:30. I always see this one!
I love my gun that I bought about two years ago Taurus 24/7. I just liked the color and feel. I didn't realize the significance of the numbers and the name until much later. The guy @ Academy put the a S&W in the box. I got home to find out that "this isn't the gun that I bought! What a piece of shit!" LOL The gun was too light and small for my hand. I remember shooting my dad's .380 in Bryan a while back. The action lever caught a piece of skin on my right hand. So I thought such a small gun had no business in my hands. Besides, barrell was much smaller and caliber was wrong. I dont want some wimpy 9mm.
Stopped at a red light during the rush after work. I sit there and look to my immediate left. Pizza Hut! Yum...... I remember being there a couple of times. Anyway, I never noticed before the address - a sign on the bottom right corner of it...... 427. Funny I rarely go down that 7-lane road much less have to stop at the lights, for its a main drag....
My client's previously assigned number has 4227 embedded in it. I sit and loose concentration for a minute...
Simple? Maybe
Is this here to keep hope alive? Absolutely

Swim Time
I can't wait until I start my membership with my local aquatics center. Nice looking weight room with some pools to spare!
Its been a while since I've worked out, but I'm stoked to go back to sore muscles! I'm not so sure I'm going to be enjoying the early morning rises, but that's okay. What do I have to loose? I'm not used to coming home after work........... I didn't do it in high school, and I wont that now!
